§ 10-8. Filing of application and affidavit by write-in candidate.
A person seeking to qualify as a write-in candidate for nomination in a primary election pursuant to section 5.04(c) of the Charter shall file the application and affidavit required by such Charter section with the City Clerk not more than 11 weeks and not less than nine weeks before the date of the primary election or, where provision has been made on the ballot for write-in candidates, the application and affidavit may be filed until 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the primary election.
