§ 13-119. Indoor public assembly.

  • (a)

    A permit is required for any indoor public gathering when it is anticipated that more than 600 persons at one time or more than 5,000 persons a day shall gather. A permit shall be issued only after the applicant has demonstrated compliance with applicable laws, ordinances, and best known industry and fire protection standards relative to the protection of the public health, safety and welfare.

    (b)

    No permit shall be required for a regularly scheduled religious service located in a church, temple or synagogue facility.
