The structure containment and ancillary tankage shall be plainly marked in conformance
with NFPA standard 704. Where multiple hazardous materials are present, a single NFPA
704 diamond shall be used and it shall bear the highest applicable rating in each
NFPA category, representing the most dangerous product or products stored. Such markings
shall reflect the appropriate health, flammability and reactivity hazards of the materials
contained. All markings within the City shall be placed upon a minimum 12-inch placard
to be visible at 300 feet. In addition, holders of quantity levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 shall
be marked as to specific contents and tank gallons, and on the structure and ancillary
tankage.
