§ 16.40.120.11. Industrial suburban districts.

  • The following types of signs shall be permitted within the industrial suburban zoning districts.

    Industrial Suburban District (IS)
    (All uses, except subdivision entrances and
    single-family, duplex and multifamily residential uses)

    Freestanding signs

    Permitted number of signs
    One for signs greater than ten ft. tall.
    Two if all freestanding signs are ten ft. in height or less; and with a minimum of 300 ft. of frontage.
    Maximum sign area One square foot per linear front foot up to a maximum of 150 sq. ft.
    Maximum height 20 ft.

    Wall signs

    Maximum sign area
    1.75 sq. ft. per linear front foot up to a maximum of 150 sq. ft.
    For buildings of four or more stories in height, one additional sign shall be permitted for building identification at the top of the building. The allowable sign area shall be 3.0 sq. ft. per lineal vertical foot of the building up to a maximum of 300 sq. ft.
