§ 16.80.020.1. Powers and duties.
A.
There is hereby created a Development Review Commission (DRC) to evaluate and act on the development proposals within the City in order to ensure compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, zoning ordinance and other appropriate City regulations, to act as the Land Development Regulation Commission (LDRC) for the purposes of and as required by the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act to review and evaluate proposed modifications to the Land Development Regulations, except as to certain historic and archaeological preservation matters where the Community Planning and Preservation Commission will serve as the LDRC, and to act as the Airport Zoning Commission for the purposes of and as required by F.S., Ch. 333, Airport Zoning, to review certain airport obstruction permits and decide appeals.
B.
The DRC shall hear certain appeals where specifically required by this chapter.
C.
The DRC shall have such other duties and responsibilities as are delegated to it under this chapter.
