§ 17.5-21. Establishment of the local housing assistance program.

(a)

The program is hereby created and established.

(b)

The local housing partnership shall use the funds received from the state pursuant to SHIP to implement the program. Approximately 90 percent of SHIP funds will be devoted to locally designed strategies that create or preserve affordable housing.

(c)

The City hereby specifically finds that the cost of administering the program will exceed five percent but shall not exceed ten percent of the funding received from the state pursuant to SHIP.

(d)

The program shall include all other lawful objectives not previously listed if said objectives have been adopted into the local housing assistance plan in the manner provided for by SHIP.
