§ 22-23. Unlawful acts.
(a)
No person shall give, offer, or promise to any employee, or of an employee request, solicit, accept or agree to accept any pecuniary or other benefit not authorized by law in connection with past, present or future employment with the City.
(b)
No City employee, examiner, or other person shall defeat, deceive or obstruct any person in the right to examination eligibility, certification or appointment under policies and principles established by this article, or furnish to any person any special or confidential information for the purpose of affecting the rights or prospects of any person with respect to employment with the City.
