§ 26-139. Parking for certain purposes prohibited.

  • No person shall park a vehicle upon any street for the principal purpose of:

    (1)

    Washing, greasing or repairing the vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an emergency.

    (2)

    Displaying advertising.

    (3)

    Selling merchandise from the vehicle, except in a duly established marketplace or when so authorized or licensed under the Code.

    (4)

    Storage for more than 72 hours.

    (5)

    Soliciting orders for or from which goods, wares, merchandise, fruits, vegetables, or plants are to be sold directly to the customers purpose of soliciting orders from, or sale to, the occupants of the immediate premises only.
