§ 27-140. Computation upon failure of meter to register.

Should the water meter on any premises become defective so that the amount of water consumed for the current month cannot be ascertained, the owner of the premises shall pay for that month an amount equal to the average amount charged for the month preceding and the month following the failure of the water meter.
