The owner or other person responsible for a rental housing unit shall make available
to the POD those rental records necessary to determine when changes of occupancy have
occurred. These records shall be made available in a reasonable time upon written
request of the POD.
(b)
It is not the intent of the City to inspect financial records of the owner or the
person responsible for the rental of the housing unit, but only to inspect those records
necessary to establish when occupancy changes have occurred. In the event the owner
or person responsible for the rental of the housing unit keeps a log of changes in
occupancy of the rental housing unit contemporaneously with such changes in occupancy,
such a log, when produced for inspection, will satisfy the requirements of this section.
