§ 8-273. Reports of unsafe dwellings or structures from departments, and/or private professionals.

Any person, including City employees, may make reports to the POD concerning dwellings or structures which appear to be unfit or unsafe. The POD is authorized to utilize the services of private engineers, architects or other professionals in order to determine the condition of the structure in question and such costs shall be assessed in the same manner as provided for in section 8-270.
