§ 20-225. Purpose.

(a)

The purpose of this section is to encourage persons who utilize security and/or fire alarm systems to properly use and maintain the operational effectiveness of fire and security alarm systems in order to improve the reliability of fire and security alarm systems and reduce or eliminate false fire and security alarms.

(b)

This section governs fire and security alarm systems intended to summon a response from the Police or Fire Department, and establishes a system of administration.
