§ 7-160. Unlawful occupancy of berth.

  • (a)

    No owner or operator of any vessel shall permit the vessel to occupy any berth or slip without first having registered the vessel in the marina office, having paid the proper fee therefor and being in receipt of a proper assignment of the berth or slip for the vessel.

    (b)

    No owner or operator of any vessel shall permit the vessel to dock, berth, moor, or otherwise be stored for any period of time in any area within the City yacht basins not approved for such usage by the POD. The POD may permit or prohibit such activities in such areas within the City yacht basins based upon a determination that such activities may tend to create congestion within the yacht basins or on adjacent land areas, or present any threat to the public health, safety or welfare.
